Sonic Youth are playing the Williamsburg Waterfront with Wild Flag

My buddies at BrooklynVegan have just announced a Sonic Youth/Wild Flag outdoor show at the Williamsburg Waterfront on 8/12. I’ve been meaning to check out Wild Flag for some time now, as Sleater-Kinney are one of my all-time favorites and I’ve only heard good things about the newly formed supergroup. Place them on the bill with the legendary Sonic Youth and you have an amazing lineup. Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, April 29th at noon.

BV also mentions that tickets for Thurston Moore’s solo show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on 5/20 are still one sale. Did you make it into Kim Gordon’s show at the Stone on Saturday (4/23)? My friends and I showed up too late and got shut out, and now I’m really pissed because apparently Yoko Ono showed up. Let us know how it was!
