Well This Is Awesome: David Lynch -- "Pinky's Dream" (Feat. Karen O)

Well now. I kind of always assumed that, of all the tracks off of David Lynch's upcoming album Crazy Clown  Time, "Pinky's Dream" would be the clear standout. Chiefly because, when you invite Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to rock vocals for you, outstanding things tend to happen - and when said vocals are on a track written by David F%^king Lynch, you know you're in for a great time.

Well thanks One Thirty BPM capturing the song's premiere on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, we now know that this song is indeed totally great. Slinky ghostly vocals over a driving beat produce a song that needs to appear again on the soundtrack to whatever David Lynch does next. Stream AND download it over here. Of Course You Want To Watch The Trailer For David Lynch's "Crazy Clown Time"

Ever since we heard that acclaimed director of very weird things David Lynch is releasing his solo album, Crazy Clown Time, on November 8, we've been damn curious about what that would entail. We got a taste of the title track earlier this month, and now we have a trailer for the album that you can check out after the jump.

It consists pretty much entirely of in-studio footage, but since this is a thing that David Lynch is doing, it's naturally a bit stranger than that description conveys. I'm also a fan of the fact that the current top-ranked comment on the YouTube video is "thumbs up if you are watching this in the black lodge." Check it.

Remember that time we told you that acclaimed bizarre filmmaker and TV director David Lynch is putting out an album called Crazy Clown Time next month (November 8)? Well that's... still happening, and now you can stream the title track of said album below. It sounds very much like something David Lynch would put out, which is less a cop-out of a description than an honestly accurate one.
