He most recently released a cool new single with a curious title and blew our friend James' mind at the New York Guitar Festival, and now Sonic Youth-er Lee Ranaldo is getting ready to tour the US (and Mexico for a day) this spring in support of his upcoming album, Between The Times & The Tides (due out March 20).
Matador notes that Ranaldo will be back on the road with his backing band of Alan Licht, Steve Shelley, and Irwin Menkin starting with Mexico City's Indie-O Fest on April 7, where he'll see a familiar face in the form of SY frontman Thurston Moore who is headlining. He'll be back in NYC for a show at Webster Hall on May 11 where he'll be sharing the stage with M. Ward - tickets are on sale for that next Friday the 27th at noon.
