Oh Canada! Just the other day we shared our friend The Backstage Rider's hilarious review of Brooklyn-via-Cincinnati indie rockers The National's recent Vancouver shows, and she just now gave us a heads up that the band performed two brand-new songs during their stop at Toronto's Q LIVE show on CBC Radio.

Check out both tracks, "Rylan" and "I Need My Girl" over here. The band has been touring extensively behind 2010's High Violet (Spotify it) and are gearing up for a six-night hometown stay at Beacon Theatre beginning this Monday. Do whatcha gotta do to get into one of those shows for sure (legally, of course).
