Hey there! Have some quick but awesome news.

  • As predicted/hoped, The Afghan Whigs will follow up their ATP I'll Be Your Mirror NJ appearance with a set at everyone's favorite NYC venue, Terminal 5 on October 5! Eagles of Death Metal will open, and the pre-sale for tickets begins tomorrow (4/25) at 10am - the password, conveniently enough, is AfghanWhigs2012 (BrooklynVegan)

  • Japan's legendary pop-punkers Shonen Knife have announced that they'll be releasing their 17th (!) studio album, Pop Tune, on June 6 via Good Charamel Records. They'll support the release with a summer tour that will bring them back to The Bell House in Brooklyn and Maxwell's in Hoboken on July 21 and 22 (Consequence of Sound)
