Archers Of Loaf Playing NYC In April, Reissuing 2nd Album Next Month

Archers of Loaf @ Webster Hall, 6/26/2011
Reunited '90s indie rock champs Archers of Loaf are still going around rocking the faces off of everyone who presents their faces to them, and we're happy to share that they'll be back here in NYC for two-night residency nearly a year after we caught them at Webster Hall. According to BV, the band will play Bowery Ballroom on April 26 and Music Hall of Williamsburg at another date TBA that week. Our money's on the next night (uh, Friday), but we'll see.

Tickets are on sale for the Bowery show this Friday (2/3) at noon ET. You'll have more than enough time to brush up on material from their sophomore album, Vee Vee, as the deluxe reissue of that LP will be available beginning on February 21 via Merge, with reissues of the band's remaining catalog to come later this year. Feel free to give their reissued debut album, Icky Mettle, a spin right now on Spotify as you wait to pick up tickets.
