Stream Wild Flag's Self-Titled Debut Album On NPR

Hope all of our readers here on the East Coast made it through the weekend safe and dry. The good people at NPR have dropped off a nice little gift as part of their Sunday night First Listen series: the long-awaited self-titled debut from rock supergroup Wild Flag. We had a blast seeing them when they opened for Sonic Youth a couple of weeks back, and now we can hear their studio output in full in advance of Wild Flag's release on September 13 via Merge Records.

Check it out over at NPR and make that post-Irene Monday back at the office a little more awesome. You can also see Wild Flag flying their rock banner live again around here on October 15 at Brooklyn's Bell House, with Sonic Youth's own Lee Ranaldo opening.
