Listen: Spin Magazine's Nirvana Tribute Album

Spin Magazine, never one to shy away from their gushing over Nirvana (that’s their most recent cover above), has tapped some of indie rock’s most promising acts, as well as the grunge band’s peers to cover the much beloved breakthrough album Nevermind, track-for-track. Featuring obvious acts such as Meat Puppets and The Vaselines, Newermind (as it has unfortunately been dubbed) also has younger bands such as Titus Andronicus and Jeff the Brotherhood covering “Breed” and “Something in the Way” respectively. You can download the entire tribute album for free over at Spin’s Facebook page.
