There won’t be a second part to Radiohead’s The King of Limbs

When Radiohead released The King of Limbs in February, announced only 4 days before its release, there was almost instant speculation that it was just part one of a double album. Radiohead fans apparently are a bunch of conspiracy theorists. But despite releasing two new songs this Saturday for Record Store Day, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien is still squashing those rumors. You can read his official statement over at NME.

The Record Store Day release (a limited edition vinyl) contains songs “The Butcher” and “Supercollider,” both of which were from The King of Limbs sessions, but were subsequently left off the album’s release. The songs have apparently already leaked. You can read our picks for this Saturday’s annual Record Store Day exclusive releases here.

In other Radiohead news, Pitchfork reports that Radiohead is auctioning off items to raise relief funds for Japan.
