Stereogum has a link to stream the new Butch Vig-produced Foo Fighters album “Wasting Light” here. Husker Du’s Bob Mould appears on what Stereogum calls the album’s standout track, “Dear Rosemary”. I caught Bob Mould solo in Brooklyn back in November, and I can assure you he is still great.
When I first heard that Dave Grohl’s former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic would be appearing on the album, it was a glimmer of hope that new Foo Fighters material could actually be good. Is it? Decide for yourself.
