Watch Jack White Perform Two Songs On SNL

As we reported about a month back, former White Stripes frontman and exceptionally busy Third Man Records founder Jack White is releasing his debut solo LP Blunderbuss on April 23. The first single off of said album, "Love Interruption," definitely got us psyched for the release, and this weekend he swung by Saturday Night Live for a live performance of both that track and a new one, "Sixteen Saltines."

Future Nostalgia: Get Free Tickets To The Black Keys Tonight (If You're Fast / Downtown) + Check Out Their SNL Performance

Looking for a cool show to go to tonight? Are you in NYC's Lower East Side now or can get there pretty fast? Are you legally an adult? Well congratulations, it's entirely possible you'll be able to snag a free ticket to see Akron, Ohio's indie blues rock champions The Black Keys tonight!

Southern Comfort (the show sponsors - kinda makes sense) is now giving away 400 tickets to tonight's gig down at 6 Delancey Street. Just show up in a timely way with your ID and you might get in. Live from New York, It's BASS FACE!

The recently-announced yet somehow still long-awaited Radiohead NYC Takeover began tonight on a program very few other New Yorkers I know watch much anymore, Saturday Night Live. The band (including Clive Deamer on ongoing co-drumming duty) rocked through The King of Limbs' "Lotus Flower," as well as non-album stunner "Staircase," and as always our friends at The Audio Perv got that footage online with a quickness.

Check them out below, and - if you're lucky - score tickets to see them at Roseland on the 28th or 29th on Monday. Or maybe buy an ATP ticket, just in case. Either way, expect even more televised awesome when they get even more airtime on The Colbert Report this Monday night. Can you tell we're keeping our eyes on this?

WHOA: Radiohead To Perform On Saturday Night Live Season Opener, Plus TKOL RMX 4

Well this is interesting! Radiohead, my favorite band in the world and the masters of random surprises, have kept yet another one under their sleeves until now. Pitchfork reports (via USA Today) that the band will be the musical guests on the season opener of Saturday Night Live, marking their second appearance on the, eh, comedy program since they rocked through "Idioteque" from the still-totally-awesome Kid A and hung out with Kate Hudson 11 years ago. I tend to average about 6 minutes of viewing SNL per year, so I'm happy they'll be spent seeing Radiohead rock something off of The King of Limbs.

In kind of related news, the band is now streaming Volume 4 of their TKOL RMX series, featuring takes on "Give Up The Ghost," "Codex," and "Little By Little" by Thriller Houseghost, Illum Sphere, and Shed. Check it out below, and keep your fingers crossed that this is all leading up to a frakking tour this year.
