It's been a while since we posted the latest episode of Magic Sundae. What can I say, we've been ridiculously busy lately. But fear not, Magic Sundae is here with a brand new episode including tunes by LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Jonny Greenwood, John Coltrane, Doe Paoro and listener mail. Enjoy...

Fucking Nostalgic Presents... Magic Sundae: "Run Again"
Another week, another episode of Fucking Nostalgic Presents... Magic Sundae. And it's a good one, that's for sure, featuring songs by A Tribe Called Quest, Beck, Bob Marley, Toots & the Maytals, Buena Vista Social Club and Metallica. But we've actually run into a bit of a problem. Since we merged with the podcast last month, the outgoing bandwith that used to be sufficient is just not cutting it anymore. This is great because it means a shitload of people are listening every week, but it sucks because we can't host the podcast anymore on the normal site. We'll be figuring out something in the next few weeks to get it back up and running in its usual place, but for now we've moved this week's episode onto a temporary site, and you can listen to it below. Thanks for all of your support, and details on how you can help save Magic Sundae are forthcoming...

Fucking Nostalgic Presents... Magic Sundae: "Stomach, Texas"
With one host off on the other side of the country, Argon Fritz took it upon himself to produce this week's episode by himself, along with the help of the usual group of weirdos that accompany the studio during Magic Sundae recordings (Debbie, Jen, Redd and FN Editor-in-Chief Chris). This week is an excellent podcast featuring songs from Roy Orbison, Black Francis, The Carpenters, Lana Del Rey, The Cure, David Lynch, The Shirelles and even Nine Inch Nails. If that's not an eclectic mix for you, then I don't know what to say. So I won't. Listen below, and be sure to check out the playlist for last week's episode below.

This week's episode of Magic Sundae is a bit lighter on the bells & whistles of previous episodes, if only because everyone had a pretty hectic weekend (birthday celebrations, parents visiting, preparing for trips to Dublin)--but don't let that fool you into thinking it's not worth listening to. EVERY episode of Magic Sundae is worth listening to (duh).
And now that I just used "duh" for the first time in 16 years, it is time for me to stop writing and tell you to listen to the brand new episode below. And below that, check out the playlist for last week's episode...

Fucking Nostalgic Presents... Magic Sundae: "Plasms"
Fucking Nostalgic Presents... Magic Sundae: Episode #1 - "Plasms"
Featuring: Argon Fritz, Silver Supremacist, Damien, Chris, Red Jen, Zach, Lexi and Marissa
Just to make things clear: The hosts of Magic Sundae have been broadcasting their podcast for nearly a year, but this week's episode marks the first time the show has been recorded as the official podcast of Fucking Nostalgic. What exactly is the difference? Nothing really, apart from now we're going to start posting the episodes here every Sunday, and that we'll be referencing each other in our respective mediums a lot more. The good news is that this week's episode is just as weird and hilarious as ever, and including some great tracks by Death, Deerhunter, Mission of Burma, Real Estate, a shit load of reggae and Beck. Oh, and we also discussed how much Phil Collins sucks (hence the weird artwork for this episode below).
Take a listen below, and be sure to download it as well. We'll be posting the tracklisting for this episode next week, so hold onto your shorts until then. Enjoy, and spread the word!
