Buddy Holly, who along with Richie Valens I hold responsible for beginning my obsession with music at a very young age, will be paid tribute to on an upcoming compilation entitled Rave On Buddy Holly. Set to be released on 6/28, the 19-song tribute album will feature covers by none other than Paul McCartney, The Black Keys, Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Cee Lo Green, My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, Florence and the Machine and the Strokes’ Julian Casablancas.
