Good things come to those who wait. At least that's what we've been telling ourselves in the sixteen months that have passed since buying tickets to Mogwai's two Webster Hall shows--originally scheduled for April of 2011. Enough of retelling the same old story. The dates are finally upon us. The incredible Scottish post-rock band will finally please a hoard of New York-area fans at Webster Hall on June 14 and 15. Tickets are still available for both shows.
Make note of the fact that on Mogwai's own website, Stuart Braithwaite states, "It will likely be the last extensive touring we do for some time so we hope it will be a very special tour." All of Mogwai's tour dates are below.
Balam Acab, who played alongside Mogwai at ATP IBYM in London a couple weeks back, will open both Webster Hall shows (plus the rest of the tour) and you can listen to his subtle, mellow remix of Lana Del Rey's single "Video Games" below..
