Ben Browning (Cut Copy) Releasing Solo EP In March - Stream First Single Now
Australia's Cut Copy have been an essential part of the dance-punk resurgence of the past decade, and their show at Terminal 5 last year around their excellent latest LP Zonoscope ranked as one of my favorite shows of 2011. While the band's current tour schedule is pretty light (they're DJing LA's Avalon tonight), Consequence of Sound notes that bassist Ben Browning has a solo EP called Lover Motion ready to drop on March 19 via Cut Copy's Cutters label.
You can stream the first single, "I Can't Stay," after the jump as well as watch the corresponding video; Knightlife and Juan Maclean also have some remixes you can check out on Ben's Facebook page. It all sounds like a natural extension of everything we dig about Cut Copy, so keep an eye out for this one.
