Nuts to everyone who already put out their year-end lists... The Roots, the hardest working band in showbiz and the only good thing to come out of Philly (aside from cheesesteaks and a couple of our friends), released their latest studio album undun last week to widespread praise. Their first concept album, it's an understandably dark tale about the rise and fall of the fictional criminal Redford Stephens, whose character is built upon the real struggles of people close to the band.
Naturally, this would lend itself well to an accompanying short film, and that's exactly what happened. Check out this 10-minute flick after the jump via Nah Right, featuring part of my personal nominee for Hip-Hop Track of 2011 "Make My."
