Swedes not only know pop music, they perfectly craft and contort the genre into something fiercer, larger. A prime example can be found in Niki & The Dove. On June 12th, their album Instinct (Sub Pop) will be
available digitally on iTunes, and the single “Tomorrow” accentuates the group’s instinctive nature to carefully sculpt effortless electropop.
To celebrate their release, Niki & The Dove will perform for YouTube Presents on June 13th where you can watch and awkwardly dance along over at YouTube Presents as well as Niki & The Dove's own YouTube channel.
In addition, Niki & The Dove will be dazzling Brooklyn June 14th at Glasslands Gallery (21+) for the Northside Festival. Tickets ($12-$14) are still available. On August 31st, they kickstart a six week US tour (their first), that will find them opening for Twin Shadow for most of that stretch (all tour dates below). That tour will hit NYC on September 27 at Webster Hall (tickets on sale now). Make sure you catch the BBC Sound of 2012 nominated trio.
