- Let's start off with a case of Festival Envy: Lollapalooza has announced the lineup for the 2012 iteration of the Chicago event, including The Afghan Whigs, Jack White, Black Sabbath, The Black Keys, At The Drive-In, Sigur Ros, Bloc Party... oh yeah and Red Hot Chili Peppers (Lollapalooza)
- Hip-hop legend / A Tribe Called Quest former frontman Q-Tip has signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, and will be releasing a new solo album, potentially called The Last Zulu, sometime next year. He's also been in the studio with Kendrick Lamar and Fiona Apple, because obviously.
