Well now. I kind of always assumed that, of all the tracks off of David Lynch's upcoming album Crazy Clown Time, "Pinky's Dream" would be the clear standout. Chiefly because, when you invite Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to rock vocals for you, outstanding things tend to happen - and when said vocals are on a track written by David F%^king Lynch, you know you're in for a great time.
Well thanks One Thirty BPM capturing the song's premiere on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, we now know that this song is indeed totally great. Slinky ghostly vocals over a driving beat produce a song that needs to appear again on the soundtrack to whatever David Lynch does next. Stream AND download it over here.
