Watch: Jeff Mangum Perform At Occupy Wall Street (FN's 400th Post!)

Holy moly. So in case you missed it last night because you were watching the Yankees (or were at Hammerstein for Portishead), the people at the Occupy Wall Street protests here in downtown NYC got an especially awesome surprise in the form of none other than Jeff Mangum. The previously-reclusive Neutral Milk Hotel frontman performed a solo acoustic set full of his classic anthems, and fortunately someone had the good sense to film the whole thing. Check it out after the jump, including his cover of the Minutemen's "Themselves." Mangum recently blew away everyone who attended ATP and has sold-out shows on October 29 at Town Hall and November 3 at The Landmark Loews Jersey Theatre in Jersey City, but find a way in if you can.

...And on a self-congratulatory note, this right here is our 400th POST!! We have nothing but thanks and appreciation for all the contributors, readers, and fans who have helped us to get this far, and for all of the great artists we love for continuing to get out there and give us even more reasons to love them. Cheers to you all.
