In case you missed it (or just emphatically told us you weren't going to watch it
on Facebook), New Wave pioneers
The Cars were on
The Colbert Report last night to promote their first new album in 24 years,
Move Like This, by rocking through album cut "Keep On Knocking." And since it was Stephen Colbert's domain, the performance was preceded by a hilarious interview with frontman Ric Ocasek that touched on the band's perceived dorkiness and featured a special appearance by Ocasek's wife Paulina Poritzkova before ending with an awesome dig at the show
Glee.
Check the interview out in full above and the performance of "Keep On Knocking," along with a web exclusive performance of the classic "My Best Friend's Girl," after the jump. And if you're wondering how The Cars sound live these days,
we've got you covered.
