Jon Stewart To Host Q&A Session With Former Nirvana Members In September

Via Babble
With its 20th anniversary just under a month away, there are no shortage of cool things happening to commemorate Nirvana's Nevermind. We've mentioned (a few times) that deluxe reissue and more recently the news that former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic will be performing ONE song from the seminal album in Seattle on September 20 (thanks to an anonymous tipster for the heads up), but our friend The Backstage Rider just tipped us off to news that totally ratchets up the awesomeness of this celebration.

SiriusXM has just announced that none other than JON FUCKING STEWART from Death To Smoochy... err, The Daily Show will be hosting a fan-fueled Q&A session with surviving Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic that the network will stream for two hours on September 24. The Q&A will also feature an appearance by Butch Vig, the producer behind Nevermind.

Stewart obviously brings an amazing level of depth and insight to anything he touches, so you're definitely going to want to tune in!

  1. Too bad Jon Stewert sucks ass. And I could do without Butch Vig getting anymore press for this album. Nirvana Rulez
