Radiohead to perform The King Of Limbs live on BBC

Well they haven’t scheduled any tour dates yet, but you can catch Radiohead (aka the coolest band on the planet) performing their eighth studio album The King Of Limbs in its entirety during a 55-minute performance to be aired as part of Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich’s From the Basement music show. This is especially exciting to Radiohead fans, as the band has yet to make a public appearance of any sort since the release of the album in February.

What I gather from the WorldScreen.com article, this performance has already been taped exclusively for BBC Worldwide, and is being shopped around to various outlets around the world to air. The performance will also include behind the scenes footage, similar to the performance they did when In Rainbows was released in 2007. Radiohead – The King of Limbs: Live From The Basement will air on July 1st.

Radiohead… this is all exciting news, and we know that for a band of your stature, touring is absolutely horrible for the environment. But we here in the States miss you! Announce some tour dates… please!
